Healy Wave Energy Converter

Healy Wave Energy, LLC is developing a wave energy conversion device that is designed for reliability, safety, and economical power production for island and coastal communities. The unit employs proven technologies, low operating pressure pneumatics, ocean-tolerant components, and a novel low-impact-force end-stop feature. Consequently, it achieves high internal efficiencies, along with excellent survivability and adaptability.

The 48 ton prototype device, constructed in Clearwater, Florida, will be deployed at the University of New Hampshire Center for Ocean Renewable Energy Open-Ocean Test Site Summer of 2019 for a long-term test of its power production and longevity.
